Roger C. Mosby
14th Scout Executive, President and CEO of the Boy Scouts of America (BSA)

Roger C. Mosby is the 14th Scout Executive, President and CEO of the Boy Scouts of America (BSA), a non-profit youth organization started in 1910 and chartered by the US Congress in 1915.

Mr. Mosby spent the majority of his professional career as an executive in the oil and gas industry. He retired from a leading energy infrastructure company, Kinder Morgan, in 2015.

Mr. Mosby was a Boy Scout as a youth and served more than 33 years as a volunteer in the BSA’s Mid-America and Sam Houston Area councils, in addition to the Southern Region and National Committees of the BSA. He also served as chair of the Audit Committee for the World Organization of the Scout Movement. He has received the Silver Antelope and Silver Beaver Award, the highest honors for volunteers at the regional and local levels, respectively, and is a Vigil Honor member of the Order of the Arrow, Scouting’s honor society. Mr. Mosby was recently awarded the Bronze Wolf for “outstanding service by an individual to the World Scouting Movement”. He is the 381st individual and the 40th American to be honored by the Bronze Wolf since the award’s inception in 1935.

Roger and his wife Gwen currently reside in Irving, Texas, have four grown sons and five grandchildren.
